Hunt Drinks Hot Sauce For Charity

Actress-turned-TV talk show host BONNIE HUNT helped to raise a quick few hundred dollars for charity on Monday (05Apr10) when she agreed to drink from a bottle of hot sauce.
The daring Jerry Maguire star convinced every member of her production crew on The Bonnie Hunt Show to donate $10 (£6.70) to the Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center at Northwestern University in her native Chicago, Illinois if she completed the feat.
She said, “Everybody in the crew has to donate $10… if I drink from the bottle. And I’ll match it. We’ll raise a lot of money for research.”
Hunt swigged the fiery sauce straight from the bottle to score the donations, but the stakes were raised by one producer who offered to hand over $100 (£67) to her chosen charity if she finished off the whole thing.
The actress agreed and offered to match the figure herself as she downed the rest of the chili sauce before trying to cool herself down by throwing a glass of cold milk in her face.
