Cheryl Cole’s ‘comforter’ Derek Hough ‘has a girlfriend’

LONDON - Derek Hough, the hunky dancer who has been comforting Cheryl Cole, has a girlfriend, it has emerged.
According to reports, Hough met up with his lover just days before his date with the X Factor judge.
Hough was Cheryl’s almost constant companion after she flew to Los Angeles following the Brit Awards 11 days ago.
But before meeting up with Cheryl, sources say, Hough had been quietly romancing American actress Shannon Elizabeth, reports The Mirror.
Elizabeth’s close friend and housemate Sloane Lewis said: “I just hope she is not too crushed by this. Derek is a really cool guy and he means a lot to her.”
For almost a year, Elizabeth, 36, and Hough, 24, had an intense romance after meeting on American TV show Dancing with Stars.
They officially broke up in August last year, but continued seeing each other on-and-off afterwards according to Sloane.
Sloane said of Elizabeth: “She is still hung-up on Derek.” (ANI)
