Ronnie Wood reunites with ex

LONDON - Rolling Stone’s guitarist Ronnie Wood has rekindled his romance with Ekaterina Ivanova.

The couple split in December, days after the 62-year-old was arrested for assaulting her. Ivanova, 21, then became an addition on “Celebrity Big Brother” and struck up a romance with Swedish DJ Basshunter.

Mirrro.co.uk reports, Katia (as she is known) and Wood, who got together in 2008 as his 23-year marriage to wife Jo crumbled, have now patched up their differences and are giving things another go. This is despite her describing the sexageneraian as an “evil goblin king” following their split.

Friends say they have been in regular contact since the bust-up and he was recently spotted with her in West London.

He also arrived at the model’s house in upmarket Bayswater at 8 p.m. last Monday before slipping out at 3 a.m.

“It seems they can’t live without each other. They are taking things slowly, but Ronnie has been staying over at Katia’s place. It’s still early days and they don’t want all the attention that came with their relationship first time round,” said a friend close to the couple.

“When they split, things ended very abruptly, but there was a lot of unfinished business. But when Katia came out of the ‘Big Brother’ house, they began talking and as time went on they both felt the spark was still there,” the friend added.

After the split, Wood - a recovering alcoholic who is seeking out-patient treatment at the Priory rehab centre in Roehampton, south-west London, dated a string of young women. They included Russian PR girl Hannah Kamelmacher, 26, who had a three-day fling with him in January.

Meanwhile, Katia became close to DJ Basshunter during her spell in the reality show but ended that romance before leaving the house.

In December she disclosed how she had left Wood after he subjected her to a vicious attack outside an Indian eatery near his rented mansion in Claygate, Surrey.
