Katy Perry leaves Taj City

AGRA - After seeing the Taj Mahal, singer Katy Perry and her actor boyfriend Russell Brand left the city Wednesday morning.
The pop star has posted a photograph of herself and Brand cuddling in front of the 17th century Mughal monument on her Twitter page, joking: “He built this for me!”
Perry gave no further details of her low key trip to India.
But no one apparently recognised the pair when they were at the Taj complex — India’s biggest tourist draw.
An informed source told IANS here: “They came but the guides (at the Taj) didn’t recognise them. The state government’s protocol office had no information either about their visit.
“Generally all the big celebrities stay at the The Oberoi Amarvilas. But the hotel doesn’t give away information for security reasons.”
It is not known if Perry and Brand are still in India, said the source.
It has been reported that the couple is engaged but they are yet to confirm this, contactmusic.com said.
