Anupam’s play on failure to complete 200 shows

MUMBAI - Actor Anupam Kher is all set for the 200th show of his one man play “Kuchh Bhi Ho Sakta Hai”. Director Feroz Abbas Khan says making a play with a single character was quite challenging.
“Structuring the whole concept was a real challenge. I have done big productions with at least two characters. But making a play with one character who is narrating his own story was really a big challenge for me,” Khan told IANS.
“Kuchh Bhi Ho Sakta Hai” will complete its 200th show at National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) here Jan 3. In this play, the actor has focussed on failures in his life.
“Talking about success can boil down to lots of self indulgence and that can be irritating for the audience.
“I gathered the materials from his (Anupam) inputs. But if we had used those raw facts, it would have become a documentary. There had to be a story that contains entertainment, suspense and at the end it should connect to make it successful,” said Khan.
