By WENNWednesday, December 23, 2009
Bosses behind BRITTANY MURPHY’s latest movie project have decided to forge ahead with the film, after the project was thrown into turmoil by the actress’ sudden death on Sunday (20Dec09).
The 32 year old was due to start work on Shrinking Charlotte, a comedy with Kathleen Turner, Matthew Lillard and True Blood’s Sam Trammell.
The production was put on hold after Murphy passed away at her Los Angeles home following a cardiac arrest, but studio bosses have decided to move ahead with the film in the New Year (10) by finding another actress to tackle the lead role.
Producer Darren VanCleave confirmed the news to TMZ.com, revealing they are now looking to recast the part - and are also planning to dedicate the project to Murphy.
