Victoria’s Secret Model Adriana Lima welcomes baby girl with husband Marko Jaric

New York- The Victoria Secret’s model, Adriana Lima gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday. Lima, 28 and her 31-year-old husband, National Basketball Association player Marko Jaric were all excited to announce they had a baby girl, Valentina Lima Jaric, in New York City.

Adriana Lima, a Brazilian supermodel first met the Memphis Grizzlies star in 2006 and got engaged last year on Lima’s 27th birthday. The couple eloped on Valentine’s Day, earlier this year and wed in a private ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

The 28-year-old model learned she was expecting soon after her honeymoon.

Adriana has been a beauty queen in her South American homeland since she was a schoolgirl. At the age of 15, she finished first place in Ford’s Supermodel of Brazil competition. The fourth highest earning supermodel of this year, appeared in Victoria’s Secret lingerie show exposing her body.

Adriana and Marko chose Valentina as the name of their first daughter. Valentina is a popular Latin name which means ‘healthy and strong’ and was also chosen by Mexican actress Salma Hayek for her daughter two years ago.
