‘Sherlock Holmes’ stunts left Robert Downey Jr. asking for more in ‘Iron Man’

LONDON - Robert Downey Jr. is so excited after doing high-octane fight scenes for ‘Sherlock Holmes’ that he is demanding more stunts in the ‘Iron Man’ sequel.
The actor went through a punishing schedule to get into shape for his super sleuth role in director Guy Ritchie’s action-packed re-telling.
And now ‘Tropic Thunder’ star wants to bring some of that same intensity to his second portrayal of comic book hero ‘Iron Man’.
“The action’s certainly got bigger (in Iron Man 2). But I went and did Sherlock Holmes, which was a real balls-to-the-wall, get-your-fists-grazed adventure. Coming back into this I really challenged our stunt team to get our hands dirty a little more, because I was still kind of into that. I love it so much!” the Daily Express quoted Downey Jr. as telling Empire magazine.
“There is no better day that I can have than one where I beat people up or get thrown around. I just love it. It’s supposed to be safe, but it’s a little more than acting, so it’s really fun,” he added. (ANI)
