Fox to create animated TV comedy on Matthew McConaughey’s brother

WASHINGTON - Fox has sealed a deal with Matthew McConaughey to create an animated TV comedy based on the life of his brother.

“Rooster Tales” will be based on the story of a beer-swilling, redneck sheriff who ties the knot with a much younger Mexican woman.

However, the man soon finds he has not just got a wife but an entire family of 114 members.

“My brother’s life is so unbelievable, we had to animate it,” Variety mag quoted McConaughey, as saying.

Twentieth Century Fox TV bagged the rights for “Rooster Tales” after competitive bids from TBS and Comedy Central.

McConaughey will be the executive producer through his J.K. Livin’ Prods. banner.

Other executive produces are Mike “Rooster” McConaughey, Mark Gustawes and Kell Cahoon. (ANI)
