Swayze’s widow to break silence at women’s empowerment conference

LONDON - Actress Lisa Niemi will give her first interview since the death of her husband Patrick Swayze six weeks ago at a women’s empowerment conference later this month.
The Ghost actor died aged 57 from pancreatic cancer on September 14, leaving behind his wife of 34 years.
Niemi will form a part of a round table discussion on Grief, Healing and Resilience at The Women’s Conference 2009 in Long Beach, California, reports the Daily Express.
The 53-year-old will team up with women’s activists in a discussion moderated by the wife of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger Maria Shriver.
The Women’s Conference 2009, which gathers women to be “educated, inspired and empowered to be Architects of Change in their own lives”, is slated for October 27. (ANI)
