LONDON - Actor Jude Law’s forefathers were bakers, it has emerged.
A research published online reveals that the ‘Alfie’ star’s family history is disclosed in the 1911 Census.
Jude’s great-grandfather William Law is recorded as a master baker in the record, reports the Telegraph.
The actor’s ancestors apparently lived in a 16-room Byron Hall in Worthing on the south coast.
Debra Chatfield, marketing manager at findmypast.com, said: ”Being a family historian is a bit like being a detective, as it’s all about piecing together clues from relatives’ memories and locating official records, to discover who your ancestors were and how they lived.”
The census also found that Madonna’s former director husband Guy Ritchie is distantly related to King Edward I. (ANI)
