Filmmaker GUY RITCHIE is descended from royalty - he is related to Britain’s King Edward I.
The director is a distant descendant of the monarch, according to the 1911 U.K. census which has been published on the internet for the first time.
Ritchie is also the great, great grandson of renowned Major General Edward McLaughlin.
Jude Law’s background has also been revealed - the star is from a family of London bakers.
