Lowe Goes High For Daredevil Skiing

Action man ROB LOWE takes his life in his hands every time he hits the piste - because he’s a big fan of danger craze heli-skiing.

The actor loves hitting new heights on mountain slopes that are only accessible by helicopter - and skiing through thick, virgin snow drifts, hoping he doesn’t get buried by an avalanche.

The former West Wing star says, “There’s no lifts, no trails… the snow is up to your waist. Some guys literally ski with snorkels because… you can’t breathe.

“They give you the avalanche beacon in case you’re buried, and a shovel.”
