Pryor’s Children Sue Trustee

RICHARD PRYOR’s two children are suing the protector of the late comedian’s trust over allegations money was hidden from them.
Steven and Kelsey Pryor maintain they were unaware of the trust the actor created for them in 1988 and are taking legal action against Robert Philpot, the man appointed to look after the star’s money.
The siblings uncovered the trust’s existence and are now worried Philpot “wrongfully took, concealed, or disposed of assets”, according to legal documents filed in Los Angeles County on Tuesday (22Sep09) and obtained by TMZ.com.
The pair is seeking to fire Philpot as trustee and recover anything he may have stolen from them.
Pryor died in 2005 after suffering a cardiac arrest at the age of 65.
