Calle 13 Lead Latin Grammy Nominations

Hip-hop duo CALLE 13 look set to rule the 10th annual Latin Grammy Awards in November (09) after landing five nominations on Thursday (17Sep09).
The Puerto Rican group has already won a clutch of Latin Grammys and now they’re fighting for Album of the year and Best Urban Album of The Year prizes for Los de
Atras Vienen Conmigo, Record of The Year and Best Alternative Song for No Hay Nadie Como Tu, and Best Short Form Music Video for La Perla, which featured actor
Ruben Blades.
Ivan Lins & The Metropole Orchestra, Jose Lugo, Jorge Luis Piloto, Ivete Sangalo, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Caetano Veloso, and Wisin y Yandel are all tied with three nods
apiece and Ricardo Arjona, Bebe, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Luis Enrique and Luis Fonsi are among the acts with two nominations.
The Latin Grammys will be held in Las Vegas on 5 November (09).
