Ritchie’s Bad Memory

GUY RITCHIE has made so many movies, he often forgets which films are his own.

The 41 year old has directed a number of pictures, including gangster movies Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch.

But constantly working on films has addled Ritchie’s memory - he often has to reacquaint himself with his classics.

He tells Britain’s GQ magazine, “I forget I’ve done them. So if ever they’re on, I’m unaware I had anything to do with them. If I were now to watch Snatch or Lock, Stock… I couldn’t tell you what scene was coming next.”

But despite his short-term memory, Ritchie is still proud of his work.

He adds, “It’s embarrassing to say this but I’d probably really enjoy watching them. I’d be sat there at the end, like a mug, clapping my own film.”
