ANTHONY HOPKINS is a huge fan of fellow Brit EMILY BLUNT - placing her in the same acting league as double-Oscar winner JODIE FOSTER.
The veteran actor stars opposite Blunt in fantasy horror The Wolf Man, which co-stars Benicio del Toro and is set to hit the big screen in 2010.
And Hopkins was left impressed by The Devil Wears Prada beauty’s talents - insisting she is the best he’s worked with since his turn with Foster in 1991’s Silence of the Lambs.
He says, “Wonderful. One of the absolute best I’ve worked with. For me, it’s her and Jodie Foster. You just don’t get any better than that.”
And the 71 year old is desperate for the star to remain the way same throughout her career - praising her no-nonsense attitude.
He adds, “I hope she stays the way she is, because she’s absolutely wonderful. She’s so unspoiled. There’s something so natural about her and she doesn’t give a stuff about any of the rubbish.”
