Craig’s Broadway Bodyguards

DANIEL CRAIG has bumped up his security over fears fans could accost him during his Broadway run in A STEADY RAIN - despite his co-star HUGH JACKMAN refusing a bodyguard.
The Bond star, who is notoriously protective of his private life, is set to make his Broadway debut opposite seasoned stage actor Jackman next week (10Sep09) in the dramatic play about two pals whose friendship is put to the test.
The hype surrounding the show is so intense, the pair has been rehearsing away from the theatre at a secret location.
But Craig has stunned his co-workers after requesting a personal security team throughout the show’s run, according to New York Post gossip column PageSix.
A source tells the publication, “Everybody thinks it’s funny because the truth is, Daniel rarely gets approached by the public in the street and at restaurants - especially now that he has the huge handlebar moustache for this role.”
