Katherine Heigl is a cleanliness freak

LONDON - “Grey’s Anatomy” actress Katherine Heigl says she is a cleanliness freak.

Contactmusic.com reports that Heigl is married to musician Josh Kelley and admits that she also suffers from mild OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). “I’m definitely a little OCD, I’m particular about how I like things and how I want things. I’m also obsessed with making lists,” she said.

But her obsession for cleanliness hasn’t affected her married life and she feels that compromise is the secret to a happy marriage.

“You don’t have to necessarily completely change who you are to be with someone you want to be with, but you do have to compromise a little bit. You have to let go of a little bit of yourself,” said the 30-year-old actress who got married in 2007.

The actress, who also featured in the movie “27 Dresses”, had earlier revealed that she and Josh used to argue constantly when they first moved in together.

“Josh and I didn’t live together before we were married because I wanted to hang on to those last days of my single-girl pad as long as I could.I’m not going to lie - it was rough when we finally moved in together. It’s the simple stuff everyone talks about. I like things neat, he leaves things everywhere,” she said.
