Elvis Presley’s medicine bottles on auction

LONDON - Rock and roll legend Elvis Presley’s old pill bottles are going into a Las Vegas auction, as part of a rare showbiz memorabilia.
The bottles will be bid alongside a store card belonging to Marlon Brando and Marilyn Monroes mirror as well as more than 150 other items from Monroe’ final home in Brentwood, California including furniture, clothing, and rare photographs, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Also up for auction is a cache of Elvis’ belongings he gave as gifts to his personal physician George Nichopoulos, also known as Dr. Nick. These include jewellery, books, guns and bottles of the singing legend’s prescription drugs, including sedative Benadryl and vitamin replacement pills Vicon-C, priced at $800 each.
The auction is due to take place at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas in June.
