RED FM baajao Diwali manaao!!!

Mumbai, October 22, 2008: RED FM is all geared up to bring in the festivities of Diwali in its true Bajaate Raho ishtyle. The No. 1 station has lined up special content for this festive season, with lots of exciting goodies up for grabs for its listeners!

At Red FM Delhi festivities began with Dhaasu Diwali on October 13 and will go on till October 29; with every show having interesting content weaved around Diwali. Segments like ‘Fuss Pataka’ on the breakfast show, encourage listeners to call in and narrate experiences of promises unmet by the Government officials in Delhi, with the best caller winning a Dhaasu Diwali Bag. On the other hand, shows like ‘Rocky Mera Naam’ has ‘Rocky’s Rocket’ which targets a Bollywood celebrity everyday. Rocky gives out clues on who this target is and the callers have to call in and identify which celebrity Rocky is targeting. ‘Bees ki Laddi’ on Todoo top 20 will include a rendition of a victimized object during Diwali; ‘Blind Chaal’ on Attanni Chawanni and ‘Diwali Whitewash’ on DL935 are other special segments which have been planned.

Starting October 23rd, RED FM Mumbai will turn into a Genie and make Mumbaikar’s dreams and wishes come true with exciting prizes every show, every hour! Keeping with the spirit of Ali Baba’s Khuljaa Sim Sim, RED FM Mumbai has launched ‘Iss Diwali RED pe aaja khol darwaza!’, wherein there will be three doors installed in the on-air studios with prizes behind them.
