Synopsis:

‘Out Of Bounds’ is a story about a 30 year old fighter named Mike, who has one dream to make it big as a boxer. His dream, shared by his sister Anna, is to become a champion. But, as often happens, life is harsh, bitter, and full of hidden dangers. Mike falls for the allure of these dangers, and starts earning money in illegal fistfights. Eventually, he decides the world of illegal fighting is not for him, but getting out will be harder than he ever imagined.

BIOGRAPHY

DIRECTOR: FULVIO BERNASCONI

Fulvio Bernasconi was born in 1969 in Switzerland. He received a degree in directing from the Département d’Audiovisuel of the Lausanne Art School in 1996, and his short film Bad Trip To Mars won the Newcomer Prize at the 1996 Locarno International Film Festival. He directed features and documentaries for television before making his feature film debut with Out Of Bounds (Fuori Dalle Corde) in 2007. The film was nominated for the Golden Lion at the 2007 Locarno International Film Festival.
