Spider-Man musical named Broadway’s best-selling show

LONDON - Spider Man, the musical has been named as Broadway’s best-selling show.
It’s a lucky start for a show that was tangled in delays and spiralling costs over the last 12 months, while a number of actors sustained serious injuries since previews began in November.
The superhero show is proving wildly popular with the public - it has knocked long-running musical Wicked from the top of the Broadway box office chart, reports the Daily Express.
It has earned a massive 1.01 million pounds - but the fight for the top spot was a narrow one - the musical earned just 39 pounds more than second place Wicked, according to Variety. (ANI)
