James Franco to star in ‘Wizard of Oz’ prequel

NEW YORK - ‘127 Hours’ star James Franco has reportedly signed on to play the lead role in Disney’s ‘Wizard of Oz’ prequel.
The 32-year-old will reunite with ‘Spider-Man’ director Sam Raimi for the big budget film, titled ‘Oz: The Great And Powerful’, reports the New York Post.
He will film his scenes this summer before heading to Broadway to star in ‘Sweet Bird of Youth’ alongside Nicole Kidman. (ANI)
