Angry Bieber fans attack Spalding’s online profile after Grammy upset

WASHINGTON - After Justin Bieber missed the Grammy Award for Best New Artist to Esperanza Spalding, his furious fans attacked an online biography about the jazz performer on Sunday.
The little-known bassist and singer was the surprise winner of the accolade, beating more established competitors Bieber, Drake, Florence and the MAChine and Mumford and Sons to walk away with the title at the Los Angeles ceremony, reports the Contact Music.
The Grammy upset sparked outrage among the teenage pop sensation’s devotees, prompting them to seek revenge on Spalding’s Wikipedia.com profile by posting nasty messages on the page, which is edited by members of the public.
“JUSTIN BIEBER DESERVED IT GO DIE IN A HOLE. WHO THE HECK ARE YOU ANYWAY?” one furious fan wrote.
“SHE IS F**KING RETARD (sic) THAT NO ONE HAS HEARD OF SO B**CH PLEASE DIE!” another fan posted.
Wikipedia officials was quick to remove the rude additions, but news of the website vandalism had already spread across the internet. (ANI)
