‘The King’s Speech’ wins best film at BAFTA

LONDON - Tom Hooper’s “The Kings Speech” picked up the best film title at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards here Sunday.
The movie, about the stuttering British monarch King George VI, was in the race for the award with projects like “Black Swan”, “Inception”, “The Social Network” and “True Grit”.
“The Kings Speech” is now looking forward to more glory at the 83rd Annual Academy awards. It is leading the Oscar race with 12 nominations.
