Robert De Niro’s Golden Globe trophy breaks

LONDON - Hollywood legend Robert De Niro was left embarrassed at the Golden Globe Awards when his lifetime achievement trophy fell to pieces.
The actor was honoured with the coveted Cecil B. DeMille Award for his contribution to the world of entertainment.
He took to the stage to accept the award, but the trophy broke shortly afterwards.
The red-faced actor was forced to explain its absence to reporters backstage.
“The top fell off. They warned me. They’ll have to solder it back on,” the Daily Star quoted De Niro as saying. (ANI)
