Liz Hurley’s response to Twitter plug furore

LONDON - Elizabeth Hurley has tweeted that it was hardly a secret she worked for Estee Lauder - apparently meant to address reports that she could be in trouble for plugging products on the microblogging site.
The British actress is reported to be one of the high-profile celebrities who could be investigated for allegedly endorsing products on Twitter without disclosing their relationship with brands.
But the 45-year-old posted a message on her Twitter page on Tuesday, saying that she has been a public spokesperson for the cosmetics company for years, reports the Daily Star.
“It’s hardly a secret that I work for Estie Lauder - I’ve modelled for them for 17 yrs (sic)! Love telling you about their products - they’re the best,” she tweeted. (ANI)
