David Hasselhoff goes back to his ‘Baywatch’ roots

LONDON - Former ‘Baywatch’ star David Hasselhoff surprised fans when he joined lifeguards in a rescue boat at Australia’s Bondi Beach, wearing his famous red swimming trunks.
The actor/reality TV star is in Sydney to promote an ice cream range, and he couldn’t resist revisiting his past role as Mitch Buchannon in the hit 1990s drama series.
Hasselhoff sailed onto the beach aboard an inflatable lifeboat on Monday before chatting to sunbathers and signing autographs as female models wearing the show’s iconic red swimsuit surrounded him.
“I absolutely have a love affair with Australia,” the Daily Star quoted him as telling a foreign news agency. (ANI)
