Winehouse’s first lyrics notebook found

LONDON - Singer Amy Winehouse’s first teenage lyrics and notes have been found in a pile of dumped schoolbooks.
The lyrics, notes and diary entries written in 2001 when the “Rehab” singer was just 17, were found among rubbish dumped on a north London street, reports contactmusic.com.
One red notebook has “Amy’s Songs” written on the cover and contained words including: “I’m digging myself into a hole. These days I’ll just work when once I had so much soul.”
Among the notes are some of Amy’s plans for fame and how she would spend her riches.
The 27-year-old singer has battled with drink and drug addiction and now has plans to make her public comeback next month with a string of shows in Brazil.
