Westlife vow never to split

LONDON - Irish pop stars Westlife have made a promise that they will never split and pursue solo careers.
The ‘Swear It Again’ hitmakers were rocked when singer Brian McFadden quit the group in 2004, sparking fears the band was over for good.
But the four remaining members stayed together and continued to enjoy chart success - and singer Shane Filan is adamant a break-up is not on the horizon.
“It just doesn’t appeal to us. We are happy the way we are. We enjoy making our music, touring and performing. There are four of us in the band and nobody has any plans to go out alone,” the Daily Express quoted Filan as telling Sunday Mirror.
Bandmate Kian Egan also added, “We won’t be doing this when we’re 60 years old but for now we’re happy in all areas of our career in Westlife.” (ANI)
