Beckhams heading to fashion capital New York

LONDON - Soccer star David Beckham and his wife, one-time singer and now fashion designer Victoria are set to move to New York as she wants to work there.

The couple currently lives in Los Angeles where David plays for Los Angeles Galaxy. According to reports, they are now set to splash out on a luxurious Manhattan home.

“My work is very important for me and LA isn’t a real fashion city,” contactmusic.com quoted Victoria, who was a member of the Spice Girls group, as saying.

“Her friendship group in LA has disbanded and the couple was travelling a lot more than she’d anticipated. It makes sense for her to be based in fashion capital New York. It’s closer to London and Europe for her business meetings,” a source said.
