James McAvoy to star as Darcy in zombie Pride and Prejudice?

LONDON - James McAvoy will take on the role of Mr. Darcy in a new horror adaptation of Jane Austen classic ‘Pride And Prejudice’, according to reports.
‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’, based on Seth Grahame-Smith’s book, adds flesh-eating monsters to Austen’s period novel, reports the Daily Express.
As per the Daily Record, Scarlett Johansson has been linked to the role of Elizabeth Bennet, and Scottish actor McAvoy is in talks to play her leading love interest.
Austen’s classic novel was previously revived in a 2005 version starring Keira Knightley, who won an Oscar nomination for her portrayal of the leading lady. (ANI)
