LONDON - Australian singer Peter Andre fears that his fame might leave his kids Harvey, Junior and Princess Tiaamii vulnerable to kidnap plots so he is planning to buy tracking devices for them.

The “Mysterious Girl” hitmaker is planning to buy hi-tech tracking devices, which can be hidden in clothing and on pushchairs. The tiny Phantom Sentinel gadgets would allow Andre, 37, to know exactly where the children are.

Theres always a risk because of his profile that his children could be snatched,” dailystar.co.uk quoted a source close to the singer as saying.

He doesnt want to take any chances and is happy to spend a few thousand on making sure they are safe. The trackers would allow him to keep a close log on them and ensure they are always in the right place. And if there is anything amiss he can immediately contact the police.

A security industry insider said the gadgets were the best of the best and were in huge demand.

The expert said: These devices are so small they can be disguised in clothes, on pushchairs, anywhere. At any given moment, provided the user has a WAP-enabled phone, he or she can find out where that person is.

All they have to do is access a site with unique users details and see where they are. If someone is not where they are supposed to be, the user can alert the police.

While Junior, five, and Princess Tiaamii, three, are from his marriage to Katie Price, son Harvey, eight, is from Price’s previous relationship.

Everything in Petes life revolves around the kids. By bolstering security and having these devices it will help give him peace of mind as to where they are, said a source.
