NEW YORK - Actor Kevin Costner has said that he has ‘a partial solution’ to the Gulf oil spill disaster.
Costner testified in Washington before a House Energy and Environment subcommittee looking into the oil spill, as a “discouraged US citizen and entrepreneur”, according to People.com.
“We are all at fault here. It’s just too easy to blame BP,” The New York Post quoted the actor as saying.
“What we need to do now is come together.”
Costner, who is the latest celebrity to come forward to lend a hand in doing something about the disaster, presented his business venture, Ocean Therapy Solutions, which has developed a machine that could help with the cleanup. He said that the device purifiers water and separates it from oil.
“What I can provide is a technology that is available immediately, a technology that will allow rigs to resume operation and put people back to work,” Costner said, according to People.com. (ANI)
