LONDON - Actor James Franco is reportedly in talks to play opposite Kate Hudson in a biopic of Linda Lovelace based on the book “The Complete Linda Lovelace”.
The 32-year-old actor has been offered the role of Chuck Traynor, a pornographer who married troubled actress Linda, the star of movie “Deep Throat”.
Contactmusic.com reports, the lead has been offered to actress Kate Hudson.
The adaptation has been written from the book “The Complete Linda Lovelace” by W. Merritt Johnson, and is being helmed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, who worked with Franco in 2010 drama “Howl”.
Linda was married to Chuck while she starred in “Deep Throat”, but later divorced him and left the pornographic industry, which she later derided in a number of biographies in the 1980s, including her 1986 book “Ordeal”.
