Harrison Ford to sell New York home

LONDON - Hollywood star Harrison Ford and his wife Calista Flockhart have reportedly decided to sell their New York home for $16 million because they no longer want to pay the costs involved to maintain it.
The couple who married in June 2010 in New Mexico own a 9,000 square feet loft apartment on Seventh Avenue in Chelsea but have reportedly decided they no longer want to keep the property because it costs between $13,000 to $15,000 a month to maintain, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The pair who raise Calista’s nine-year-old adopted son Liam together are now looking at purchasing a $12.5 million estate in Mandeville Canyon, in Los Angeles, where Harrison’s friend Steven Spielberg lives.
Whoever buys the home in the city will be able to count Meryl Streep and Janet Jackson among their neighbours.
The couple own another two properties, one in the exclusive Brentwood area of California and an 800-acre compound near Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
