Ricky Martin wants daughter

LONDON - Singer Ricky Martin, who has twin sons by a surrogate mother, wants to expand his brood and is hoping to become the father of a girl.

“Fatherhood is incredible! Every day is something different. Matteo and Valentino, they’re constantly ganging up on me but I can take it! They’re amazing - I want more. This is only the beginning of our family,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted him as saying

Asked how many children he was considering having, Martin, who is openly gay, added: “I don’t know. Maybe one, two more, but yeah, definitely. I need daddy’s girl.”

The 39-year-old singer loves fatherhood and admits the arrival of his sons Matteo and Valentino completely changed his life because of their sleeping patterns.

“Life changes! You have to sleep because you are not going to sleep ever again!” he said.

“Babies wake up every two hours. At 7 o’clock you are awake. For me, I was a night owl in the past, but now, I’m up, I’m working, I’m already dealing with the kids.”
