Gibson granted extra visitation time with daughter

LONDON - Veteran actor Mel Gibson has been given extra time to spend with his daughter Lucia in the latest round of custody battle.
Gibson had been embroiled in a bitter cutody battle with Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva over their little daughter since the couple split earlier this year.
The former couple had signed an agreement in May granting both of them joint physical and legal custody of the child. Gibson was entitled to a total of six days of visitation with Lucia, including three overnight visits, every two weeks.
Grigorieva had hoped to have the actor stripped of the overnight stays. The case was in court and Judge Scott Gordon has now agreed to increase the amount of visitation for Gibson. The additional time amounts to a few extra hours a week, reports contactmusic.com.
