I liked all comments. Can video be faked this day in age, yes. In the universe which we know to be infinite, could there be life out there, yes. People who are quick to judge are the problem some people are just frightened to the face that this could be true and its human reaction to want to attack when were afraid. Lets not forget also that there are some very dimented and unstable people out there. All I know is, I believe in myes mind that aliens exist, there are millions of people who report experiences and sightings and those kinda number s would hold up in any court case. And in the end, to all people who read these postings, keep an open mind, do not be quick to judge for some day you may be on the receiving end. if there is a god, may he bless the human race and free us from corruption and give each of us the option to live how and wherever we want!

I just saw this movie and all I can say is that whether true or not, we can't do anything about it. Our technology inhibits us, at least for now. Maybe someday we will have the ability to explore ourselves. Lets just hope we have reached a moral understanding by then so that we don't do something like was portrayed in this movie.

To all of you who say Charlotte Milchard played the REAL Dr. Abigail, then your a complete idiot. If you do research, and look at the comparison, the difference between the actress and the person on the video is extreme. The real actress has a different hairline, and face shape. The one in the video footage also has a mole on her neck, which the real one doesn't. This movie was mind blowing, and definitely opened a lot of peoples minds on that we are not alone. And haven't been since the beginning of humanity and the ancient civilization of Sumer.

Can I share only my opinion without anyone taking offense or agreeing with me? I watched this film/movie and I do believe it ocurred. However, I believe personally that this was a real demonic manifestation of evil spirits imitating the opposite effect of divine intervention. For example: The scroptures predict that the true believers in God, etc... will be caught up (abducted from the earth) or raptured to be forever citizens of heaven. The evil voice claims to be God...and that the little child or girl will never return to earth. I also think that this Psychiatrist got in over her head and should have sought a priest or pastor who is effective in exorcism. Demonic activity can appear to be angelic or divine in nature. But God sends good gifts to the earth. Itmanifests in three qualities" Love, Power, and a Sound mind. The expressions on the actual clients or patience was pure fear to the point of suicide and despair. Heaven or truth is opposite. If we play with fire, then we will get burned. A line was crossed between psychology, psychiatry, and religion. I hope that all of the individuals whom I believe were abducted, will seek spiritual help and deliverance from this kind of fear and assault on the mental state of mind. God bless all of the honest people for being brave to share their story. Never give up hope. because there is divine peace and recovery for the seeker. i dont think this film is real but i do think theres sumthing out there, the producer wus clever enough to fake the film in a town where no 1 can get there unless they fly , this makes a perfect setting for a place where aliens would make abductions since the town is so icolated this straight away makes the story sound alot more real, i think the producer did his research on the town on how many dissaperances have happend and many fbi visits have been there an decided it wus a perfect place to fake a story and blame it all on alien abductions. there again cant be sure could be a real story but i dont think real footage.

Doubtful that anyone will read this far down but a few things. (statement)Not scary at all unless your a four year old girl. (facts)To start go to the end why was the man from supposedly real footage alongside an actor. Sorta irrelevant but she stated knowing she was taking from scratch marks on the floor but when they flashed back under hypnosis she floated out of the room or was pulled couldn't quite tell. Too much cross genre themes about like the attempted blending of camera footage, what I mean is the 333 and when they spoke in tongues. As another poster said was it an alien or a demon flick? Just watch the exorcist series so I don't have to explain, throw some supernatural in there too. Um could say more but why just don't watch.

Does it REALLY matter if the movie is true or not? The fact remains that ufo sightings have been around since the BC's. The shapes and movements all based on the same info.If one is truly interested to know more than search your local library for books that deal with unsolved mysteries of the unexplained.Read your BIBLE and research it in detail.Compare your findings and discover for yourself how it is all connected.

This review is a joke. I'm a grown man in my 30's and I've never seen a more scarier movie in my life. The authentic footage captured is amazing. I loaded all weapons before going to bed that's how freaked out we were.

What a lame review. This usually happens from closed minded people though, nothing new. Its quite apparent that this kind of thing happens. Research the sumarians (spelling) and you will see that long before we were even thought about, they have depicted many Alien related things. Aliens have been around far longer than us. Amberr is 100% correct. The government will continue to cover this up for as long as they can, but that wont be forever. Do you really think we are alone? Look up the hubble space images, there are THOUSANDS of other galaxies out there. Our solar system in comparison to our galaxy is about as significant as a grain of sand. Our galaxy compared to the universe is not even that significant. If you really think in all that vast amount of space that we are the only ones then you really need to open your eyes.

Regardless if its true or not, the 3.33am thing made me sick to my stomach. I've been seeing this number for the last 9 months, i wake up 2-3 times a week at exactly 3.33am, even my address is 333. (we bought this house a month before i started seeing triple 3's). i'd have to say that with real audio and video footage it's pretty hard to disagree with?? when you have such things such as video why would you disagree? i fully believe that the events that have happened in nomw alaska were real. what happened in roswell, new mexico is REAL! the government is trying to convince "us" that ufo's and aliens arent really real. but what is going to happen when we either get invaded? or taken over by a new "human" kind? the government knows much more then they'd ever tell to anyone and untill the day something happens that they cant cover up takes place people will contiue to live in a lie.

This movie was so scary ive been watching horror movies since i was 10 and in my almost 6 years after that i have not seen a movie that went beyond a creepy feeling and ive seen alot of the "scariest movies of all time" but this truly was scary whether the footage was real or fake.

I totally agree with John Dale, people do bury there heads when they are afraid. But to honestly say that millions of people are lying is just insane. There are two sides of the fence and I beleive that the time will come very soon to make all those non beleivers beleivers. I have watched the film "The Fourth Kind" twice, I found it totally engrossing. I find it hard to comprehend that the lady was not taken more seriously. I think it is a human response to bury ones head if something scares or is not fully understood by us.I personally believe 100% that abductions do happen, it is incredibly niaive for humans to believe that we are the most advanced species anywhere.

First of all I saw this film less than an hour ago now here I am. It was really disturbing for me for one reason, I almost believe it all. Still without proof thats as far as I'll go. As for aliens, there have been "Millions" of reported UFO sightings by fellow human beings. If this many human beings are lying then i have no faith in our morals as an intelligent race. Hence I choose to believe that most if not all are truthfull. However in the UFOs themselves I can't fully believe unless I've seen one myself. As for the "Alien" antagonist calling itself "God"... this is around the third time I've come across the inference of its kind. Meaning that in in three documentries I've seen, I noticed that they try to reveal "God's" identity to be an alien or aliens to be exact. Meaning then that we humans were created by aliens. Chupsss! My christian faith prohibits me from considering such an outrage! As for the review of this movie, that I am sure was a biased opinion! All in all the aim of this movie I guess was to make us become aware of persisting alien presences here on earth. The movie in the end although it was unsettling was GREAT!!!

Okay, is the movie fake or real. Obviously it is fake, though I did enjoy the fact that they attempted to make the videos "realistic." However, we must remember, in Hollywood, you have powers in place that are always doing their best to continue to dumb down the general public, and I'm not only talking about alien movies, movies in general, there is always a subtle message to believe what Hollywood says. Anyway, the movie was interesting and exciting to watch. Especially if you have no interest in UFO's, Alien Abductions etc, you will either like it or consider it to be absolute rubbish. If you are into the above, into the conspiracies, this will either solidified everything you ever believed, or encourage you to discover the truth, if there is a truth to be discovered. Personally I was truly hoping that the videos that were shown was real, but after the first few minutes, I realized that they weren't. I was disappointed in that fact. You would have to wonder, if the videos were real, why would the families release such documentation of personal medical recordings. Why would the police allow such a grizzly murder-suicide to be shown. Would the extended family of the victims allow such a depiction of their beloved to be used in such a movie. Finally, all those that claimed to be abducted stated that they were spoken to by the aliens, both in the mind and verbally. So, than, why when the 'aliens' manifest as a demonic possession would they speak the ancient language of Sumeria? Would they not have spoken in English, since last reports indicated that they have the ability. Overall, I enjoyed the movie, it's thought provoking. I know that there are majority of people that do not believe in UFO or ETs' since there is no evidence. However, we must not allow our own inabilities, the lack of proof to claim it as final. There are things in heaven and earth that are still unexplored, still undocumented, still not truly understood. Now, as I always tell people, you have to allow your personal beliefs, your religious views (if you have any), your mental and intellectual state guide your opinion and decision. DO NOT ALLOW people to dictate your opinion just because they claim you are stupid. Use rational thought and research to help you come to an understanding, whether you are fore it or against. But if you want a good movie to watch, you want a movie to have your girl jump and hold tightly to your arm, maybe this would be a good little flick to watch.

Dude, i find this so creepy its so not funny aye. It heaps scary. I like how each scene has been backed up with an audio/video referance and it is by far not like any of the other movies i have seen. I thought aliens were never real. but this movie scared the shits outta me and i will always remember this movie! why nome or anywhere. general I think if you show people personal clips of incomeplete inexplainable occurance they say its not real these claim somehow dissappear without a trace. such as the family in midwester that 9 people were taken from even included more on their own vieeo. though that showed the thanksgiving incident. this is like that. and I susepct real. 8 billion people in the world. and these colder regions and remote rual area are perfect for targeting. many people are saying they experienced it. mental ill claim something too. they get possessed by something that controls minds. and it can only control it target. for instance in the movie the cop yelled at the ship in the sky taking them up. it show you if you looked at what going on. director should not of made it scary. he could not get a description. and should of stuck to a study rather than a horror scare. People memories are effected. brain control. and our growing mental illness people share something. they know. and I say Uranus and neptune are possible host as they are in this solar system. spiritual gifted writer of automatic writings can help. but they do not answer the question of why. mayan calander date of 2012 should point it out. perhaps the control they enjoyed related to the end of the picean age. interesting to point it out. perhaps. but I am open.

If the "real" movie sequences in this film actually depicted people levitating up from their beds, why not focus on that amazing feat, captured on file, to add to the credibility. All sci-fi/horror fans love movies and concepts like this, but in reality, this is just another quasi-real documentary-style movie, with a generous dollop of controversy added in an attempt to haul it to the top of the B-grade movie pile.

i saw the fourth kind recently on dvd and it was creepy to me. especially the parts when the people were put under, and then this creepy other-worldly voice comes out some of the people's mouths. that was very scary to me and the parts where the entity or whatever lifts them up, that was really creepy. i do realize that in the supposedly actual footage, it did seem that they were acting. just ask yourself, if actual footage of a fourth kind abduction was around, it would of been leaked by now. the movie makers did a great job scaring the heck out of me.

Rockdolfan. I have been waking up at 3:11 since I was a child. I for many years have seen the number now. Everywhere I go. A store, a class room number, an address. Now at the air port their way of telling you what is allowed to bring on the plain is based on 311. 3 oz of liquid, 1 oz something else, and 1 bag. so the airport has huge signs with 311. You can't listen to people whom write articles in places like this, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, or any other news group. Almost everyone knows they don't broadcast/report on what you want to know, they broadcast/report on what they want you to know. Anybody and I don't give a rats butt if you’re the best writer for your newspaper, or the best speaker in the city, you CAN'T deny that these sort of things are going on in our world today, and possibly other worlds. The universe is infinite, teaming with all kinds of intelligent/advanced or primitive life. However, Extra Terrestrial involvement in influencing humanity (As explained in the ancient texts of beings unknown to man, that depict the same as what abductees are seeing, and machines such as rockets or aircraft) and or studying us, is only science fiction because it's used in Movies and many people today would say, its just a movie. Well then, sorry to burst the bubble of the small world one lives in (You know who you are), but ones mindset of science fiction, is becoming science reality, one step at a time. Deny it all you want, but you, or your children of the future, and their children’s children can't run from the truth much longer and I guarantee those whom deny, won't be able to handle the truth because they stick to religion, and will eventually grow to a state of madness. Now back to the topic. 11 Million people just don't Hallucinate the same thing, sorry, I just don't buy the hallucination explanation, or sleep disorders. There's implants that can back that up from surgeries on abductees, they have been analyzed and said to be manufactured from parts of comets, and other space metals. We're being check up on. We were built to survive. We were put here, man and woman. We didn't magically appear from mud. Our ancestors described the Extra Terrestrial Visitors as Gods. Videos with such a good quality, specialy the camera mounted in the cop car???Well all i have to say is that if this was true, there wouldn't be a film to see..if you know what i mean.I realy support the theory that we are not allone in the universe, and i'm 100% certain that we are not. But look at the hard facts. The nearest star is 26 light years away from us. There is nothing faster than light, so if you wanna go there and come back it would take 52 years.So the question here is , would you go someplace just to obduct anyone and waste 52 years of your life?? I think that the human race is so feed up with it self and allone that we would belive everything but the truth. And the truth , by my belive, is that we will be extinct in the near future. I use to work at the hospital in Nome, AK. Yes, the State had investigations on multiple disappearances of persons, but also d/t suicide (a lot of suicides in Nome). A lot of intoxicated people too. The arching of the back portrayed in the movie reminded me of the arching in drunks in Nome for whatever reason. A lot of psychiatric problems in Nome. The natives I had come in contact with concerning 'strange' occurences within their homes in the villages also that caused psych distress resulting in hospitalization. These persons expressed 'demons' attacking their children, and the adults during the night while in their beds, beds lifting up off the floor, shaking beds. seeing dead relatives, hearing their voices, etc. I had heard the stories of the little green men seen even on front street walking in green light. The lights seen in the night far from any street or town lighting, and no aurora borealis causing it. Personally, I have not seen these things. The natives do not like to talk about these things.

This movie was the creepiest movie i have ever seen. I have actually heard alot about Nome, and "disaperences" but i never really thought about it as much as i did after this movie. and when the aliens said... "Im God" i think that they are. it sounds like something a human would do. scientificly design organisms on another planet, place them there, and hope they evolve. i think thats how we got here. they planted us. but this is getting off topic from the actual Review. I thought thisw movie was great! 4/5 stars.

I just saw this movie a couple days ago and at first it actually made me start thinking and questioning myself about things...but then I thought to myself...this is just another one of those blair witch project movies...they say they have real footage and everything is real but in the end its actually all fake. The directors or producers or whoever can make any footage look real and do whatever with films these days just to get the media all riled up...com'on now people...This movie is a complete FAKE!!! Why is it that the movie said the actual girl missing is ashley tyler but yet when you go and research for her name...There is not one bit of information about her except references to the movie and leads you to virus sites...hmm??? I think not read up about Nome their are lots of missing people, and those missing people, havent been found yet.. This reviewer is either too narrow minded to give the movie the credit it deserves or has been paid to write the flick off. No one will watch the fourth kind and remain the same. If the producers are able to pull off this kind of trick and get a lot of people to question their own beliefs, then something serious is happening in the US. And it appears from the general bashing being given to the movie by all American film critiques, despite the enormous impact the movie is having on audiences home and abroad, that there's more to this than meets the eye. Someone may be trying to cover up something.

First and foremost, This movie was not produced to "entertain". There is far too much of that already. If you have ever read the book "Alien Encounters" by Chuck Missler, this movie is very understandable. We are dealing with spiritual warfare. When you understand the spiritual warfare we are dealing with then this movie will do two things. Just finished watching this movie and I have to say it creeped me the hell out. I love scary movies and all that. The gory-er, the better. But this movie is way different... it makes you think a lot and really had me on the edge of my seat. I personally believe in aliens and UFO's and all that. Seriously everyone, I have no idea why people are apparently using this movie to sound off about "being a believer" or "nonbeliever". That has no relevance or bearing what so ever. In brief, the 'real' (painfully fake) footage was incredibly TIRESOME after the 1st 5 minutes and it was ultimately used to avoid providing ANY degree of entertainment or indeed shock value on the VERY FEW occasions the possibility ever arose. OK, I truly get what they were trying to achieve, the idea was clever, but like so many vacuous theories, in practice it just sucked. (See what I did?) This film had everything going for it, Jovovich and great subject matter... I wasn't sure of this movie when first saw the previews, but I saw it last night, and man was it pretty intense, it makes me beleive that there could be something else out there, just watching us. I think the movie was ver well put together and the real audio/video was very beleivable. and most of the real video footage as well.

the movie is not ur typical sci fi flick but very interesting. people tend to not believe or belittle beliefs and or people because of fear. dont listen to the article above, the movie will freak u out and will leave u talking about it for a while and even find urself doing research which is how i ended up on this site:) people, it is real! it was something doing this to these people. how can a person not believe that others exist which includes spirits and demons. trust me, i dont believe in many things but this i do. it was something out there.

will i went and saw the 4th kind and i must say i was very impressed by the way it was done but maybe thats because i belive in unexpaned phanamana sorry my spelling i no is no good but i mean u must live in a bubble if u think we are alone they are all around us thats fact there is proof and if the vadican acknolages the ufos and alians the holyer than tho you no somethings up it dosent dis credit the bible or god were just not the only children of god well those are my thoughts if u can read my spelling sorry lol

this is a really bad review. i just saw this movie and regardless of how it was structured it really got under people skin. this is not blood and guts horror. what they did hear is mind fucked you. i never been so freaked out in my life. and i dont know if its real

I've read a number of reviews on this film and while they all bash the film for mixing genres ineffectively, annoying editing, and horrible acting (none of which I disagree with entirely), none of them examine to any length the real issue- are the 'real' videos and audio tapes actually real? If they're not, then yes it's fraudulent what the director did, if they are real, it's an extremely compelling movie. If the videos are real, it would be nearly impossible to be at least intrigued and to varying degrees, scared by them. Personally, I feel if they didn't include the 'real' videos the film would have been far less dramatic and frightening because you at least feel like it's real based on how the film presents it and if they only used the 'real' footage, it wouldn't have told the story properly and would have been incomplete because of the real footage we can assume was available. She didn't videotape her whole life. Making her personal life seem real by giving it the paranormal activity documentary type effect would have been more than contrived. So I beg someone to show me concrete evidence that 1. The videos are fake or 2. The videos are real. Thanks.

WHAT?? Did the person writing this critique actually see the movie or just go off of the previews. I saw this movie at the midnight showing.This movie has such amazing original footage and minimal cgi(computer generated imaging) because the actual footage is much more disturbing than anything a computer could put out. I suggest you get over your skepticism of aliens and see the movie for what it really is...the best proof we have that there is something out there and we are it's toys & lab rats! This movie scared me more than any movie or documentary ever has. Not with it's images but with the realization that we are at the complete mercy of whatever this is and IT is more powerful than any of us, any government and any police force/military. Who do we have to go to? No one.

I've been researching Dr. Abigail Tyler pretty extensively, and I want to know what everyone thinks. Fact or fiction? I personally believe that those abductions did occur, but I was curious on everyone else's opinion. If anyone has any information that they would care to pass on to me, that would be greatly appreciated. Ex: Her real name (I've read Abigail Tyler is a name to hide her true identity)
