Viswas is making his debut as hero through this movie, while Rupa Kaur and Lahari are playing the heroines. Varikuppala Yadagiri scored tunes for the flick. The audio of the film was launched at an impressive function held at Prasad Labs. A Ranesh Prasad of Prasad Labs released the audiocassettes while YS Madanmohan Reddy, brother of Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy, unveiled the audio CDs. Speaking on the occasion the producer says, ‘I have produced many action and mass films in my 15-year career. However, for the first time, I brought out a beautiful love story to attract class audiences.’ The director says, ‘It is a love story with suspense in its backdrop.’ Aditya Music is marketing the audio.
Shooting started of ShivakashiShivakashi, featuring Ajith of Patre Loves Padma fame, Manasi of Moggina Manasu fame and Yogesh Veer in the lead roles hit the floors on 19th of January. The shooting of the flick is scheduled to start on 10th of March and it is going to be shot in a stretch for 30 days. The story revolves round incidents that happen in Melbourne within a span of 24 hours. Caught in the middle of these incidents are five friends led by Girish and Hemanth. Tina Ponnapa, the Coorg girl who won the national award for her first film Meera (Tamil) is the heroine of 24 Hours in Melbourne. Director of films, Meghana, Sinchana, Nimma Shanker Nag and Aa Ondhu Kanasu, is going to direct the flick. Other cast members include Sharma, Chandrasekhar, Shashidhar and Reeta.

Sathyu, will inaugurate a theatre festival in Thrissur, organized by Nataka Souhridam from April 3 to April 5 as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations. The plays to be staged are Kurthippadam (Malayalam), Agni Mattu Male (Kannada) and Mahadevbhai (English). M.S. Sathyu, critic Sadanand Menon, dramatist G. Kumara Varma and academic M.V. Narayanan will take part in seminars to be held on April 4 and April 5. An exhibition of theatre-related photographs and posters, curated by Sadanand Menon, will also be held.

Young producer Madesh passes awayYoung producer of unreleased flick Sacha, Madeh has unfortunately passed away due to brain hemorrhage at a Bangalore hospital on Thursday. He was just 35 years old. An entrepreneur owning two bars and one restaurant in Bangalore, Madesh entered the film world by producing Sacha. The music launch of Sacha was conducted on a8th of December and the film is expected to release soon. It was a sad moment for Madesh’s family and the film industry as the young producer passed away without seeing his dream film releasing.
