TEL AVIV - Israeli top model Bar Rafaeli is following in the footsteps of her American boyfriend, Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio, after her first feature film, “Session”, had its Israel premiere.

In the English-language movie by Israeli director Haim Bouzaglo, Rafaeli, 25, plays a waitress in a sushi bar, where she gets to know a psychiatrist, in a deep crisis before his 50th birthday.

The film received its premiere in Rishon Lezion, south of Tel Aviv, Monday night.

The psychiatrist, Jake Tellman, is played by Cuban-American actor Steven Bauer, known for his role as Manny Ribera in the 1983 film “Scarface”.

The film also stars Tom Bower, Liron Levo, and Gillian Buick.
