NEW YORK - Teen superstar Miley Cyrus has announced her plans for the New Year on her official website.

The ‘Hannah Montana’ star posted a video on her official fan site, MileyWorld.com, on Christmas Eve, saying that she wants to help people in 2011.

“I want to make this the year that I go out and do what I’m here to do, and that’s, you know, help people and make people happy,” the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.

The 18-year-old star, who had a wild year that included a film release (”The Last Song”), an album release (”Can’t Be Tamed”) and a bong video release (along with a number of risque photos), said she’s “really looking forward to 2011.”

“I’ve got some new ideas. I want to go on some cool trips. I want to travel,” Cyrus said.

And with any luck, some of that travel will involve the people who made her famous in the first place.

“Hopefully I can tour or somehow come see my fans because I’d love to see you guys more in 2011.That’d be rad,” Cyrus said.

The starlet then concluded with some well wishes.

“Just want to tell you guys I love you and I hope you all are well and happy and healthy during the holidays,” she added. (ANI)
