Oprah receives ‘best welcome of her life’ Down Under

MELBOURNE - US chat show queen Oprah Winfrey admitted that her Australian welcome has been the best in her life until now.

A crowd of more than 10,000 enthusiastic fans came together to be addressed by Winfrey on her only ‘official’ public appearance throughout her Australia trip.

And she didn’t disappointment them, as she spoke the golden words to fans’ ears confessing never in her life she has been welcomed so grandly.

“In my life!. In my life!. In my life. In my entire life,” News.com.au quoted her as saying.

Every time she repeated the phrase, it was with more fervor and progressively louder than the last time.

One of her Melbourne fans said, “She’s such a normal person, (like) an old friend. She’s an educator. She’s a reliable friend. We just love her.”

Other fans also said that Winfrey was much more influencing than Prime Minister Julia Gillard. (ANI)
