Sudan Sarandon to be honoured with career tribute in New York

LONDON - Academy award winner Susan Sarandon is set to be honoured by New York’s Brooklyn Academy of Music.

The academy has organized a four-day film tribute featuring 13 of legendary Sarandon’s most iconic movies, reports the Daily Express.

‘The Susan Sarandon Picture Show’ will begin on 10 February, 2011 and include screenings of ‘Dead Man Walking’, ‘Thelma and Louise’, ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ and ‘Pretty Baby’.

The actress herself is expected to make an appearance for a special question and answer session.

As per the New York Times, Sarandon’s former colleagues such as directors Paul Schrader and John Turturro will also be in attendance. (ANI)
