LONDON - “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe says he can’t imagine leaving Britain and making the US his permanent home to pursue his passion acting.

The 21-year-old, who shot to fame playing boy wizard Harry Potter in the hit movie franchise, is happy to spend time working in the US but can’t see himself leaving Britain forever, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“My American accent is good but I don’t think I could ever live in the United States. It’s beautiful in California and the sun is shining, but I’m English and I love London,” said Radcliffe.

“I love my life there and my friends. I’d love to make a movie in Los Angeles, but I can’t see myself moving permanently,” he added.

After completing all the “Harry Potter” franchise with “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”, Radcliffe hopes to work in a variety of projects all over the world.

“You’re presented with a choice. You can either be fearful about the future or you can meet it head on. I don’t just want to do big movies, I want to do anything interesting and different. I’ve done the big movie thing for 10 years now. I’m ready to do something smaller.”
