After a hard day at work there is nothing like a good read. And what I read includes a heady dose of Sci Fi, War and deliciously poised space opera there is nothing like it. Well what if I told you there is a treasure trove of such books that are available for free online and that too legally? The mysteries and adventures of Lois McMaster Bujold’s Vorkosigan Saga are now available for free download. What’s more that they are in numerous formats for the Kindle and the iPad crowd.

The Vorkosigan saga first published in 1986. There have been thirteen books written in the series. A new one is in the can as well. The autor has kept the series fresh for quite sometime now as well. Even the tone of the series changed from a mystery to one(or may be two) love stories. But the underlying issue that are being highlighted is that how technology wreaks ahvok when left to run an unrestrained course in the civilization. People had despised the series for not being Si Fi enough but hey now when you get all the Vorkosigan tales, packed into the omnibus volumes that Baen has released over the years for free you owe one to give them a chance.

It apparently does not matter which book you start to read from as almost all of them are mutually exclusive. So give it a shot . Well another interesting fact is that you really are not the only one who are trying to land the books and as the result the site got unstable earlier in the day. Give it a shot if you really care about PostHuman fiction. Since this is where it all started.
