Bono feared he would never walk after back surgery

LONDON - U2 frontman Bono has revealed that he feared he would never walk again after undergoing emergency back surgery in Germany in May.

He faced paralysis after a disc in his spine broke into bits.

“I was in grave danger… those little bits that had broken off were starting to sever nerves in my spinal canal. I was losing the ability to walk,” mirror.co.uk quoted him as saying.
