LONDON - Producers of animated television series ‘The Simpsons’ have clarified that the animated family is not Catholic.

The clarification comes after the Pope’s official newspaper, the L’Osservatore Romano, stated that Homer and Bart were followers, the BBC reported.

Al Jean, executive producer of the television show, said the pair had only considered converting for one episode.

The episode was ‘The Father, the Son and the Holy Guest’, which aired in 2005. (ANI)
