NEW DELHI - Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is here to receive the National Award, Friday said the capital looks much greener and cleaner after the recently concluded Commonwealth Games.

Delhihospitable, neat and clean and built to event moment. Greener pastures, pavements uncluttered and clear, just a general sense of things in order and in working system and this despite all that we have been reading and report assessing, Amitabh posted on his blog www.bigb.bigadda.com.

Drive past a few of the historic arenas of the Commonwealth Games, looking large and impressive, he added.

The 68-year-old will receive the best actor National Award for his performance as a progeria-affected child in his home production Paa. He says he is looking forward to meeting his friends from the industry and other dignitaries at the ceremony.

Meeting old friends, fraternity and seeing and meeting those from other walks of cinema in India, proud and pleased to be within these very nostalgic portals of grandeur, he said.

His son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya too have accompanied him for the ceremony to be held Friday evening.
